The 2016 European Summit and XBIZ 2017 industry experts really drove home the fact that adult is making a dedicated shift to 3D-VR and fully immersive content. It is the inevitable future of the industry. Companies with a foresight into this evolving market anticipated this shift, and have already begun creating content that will be compatible with the latest technology. Though we are not the first company to introduce VR, Terpon has been working with a unique dedication to develop and produce the technology which will carry the adult entertainment industry into this inevitability.

This transition isn’t something new. In fact, Gary Vaynerchuk, better known to business insiders as Gary Vee, anticipated the future of the fully immersive entertainment we are actively striding into, back in 2014. In his 38th broadcast, Gary was asked “What’s up with VR?”  In response, Gary used the introduction of the Oculus Rift as a justification for his projection that “by 2021 VR will really matter… and be bigger than people think.” The scenario he paints is that gaming, TV, movies, and porn will be the 4 key industries that engage the masses in virtual reality. Through entertainment, consumers who didn’t seem likely to participate in the latest technology will be engaging in the consumption and demand of VR.

Throughout the broadcast, Gary hit on some of the components which will give you [the broadcaster, studio or content creator] a higher economic yield, and marketing and ROI turnaround. The keys to success are positivity, but more importantly, perseverance. We are in the introductory phase of bringing something new into mainstream. And that will seem challenging, at first. But keep in mind, the content you are creating will become the everyday mainstream expectation of the consumer. And you will already be adept at the technology, the marketing, and the production of newer content than those who decide to wait to get on board with VR. And in just a short while, you will be one of the experts on a panel, discussing how your endeavors into VR shaped the industry.
